STUDENT REPRESENTATIVE PROGRAM
The Merage Undergraduate Student Association (MUSA) Representatives Program is a collaboration between the Merage student government and the business organizations and clubs on campus. The primary purpose of the MUSA Representative position is to assist in the Merage Undergraduate Student Association’s mission of enhancing the UC Irvine business community, its resources, and its services. Its goals are to facilitate representatives’ relationships with the MUSA Executive Board, Paul Merage Undergraduate Staff, business clubs and organizations’ members, and student leaders on campus. Through delegated tasks, representatives will collaborate with these groups and individuals to share advice, knowledge, and opportunities, and develop a spectrum of business and leadership skills.

The structure of the program is designed to assist freshmen and transfer Business Administration (BA) and Business Information Management (BIM) students transition into the UCI business community. The MUSA Representatives Program will allow Reps the opportunity to work with the MUSA Executive Board to gain a wider perspective on the vast amount of opportunities provided by The Paul Merage School of Business. Here, Reps will be introduced to various business organizations, aid the Executive Board in the planning and execution of community events, and learn more about professional career development opportunities through a host of activities provided by the Program.
Representatives are expected to be proactive throughout the duration of the program. They are to cooperate with board members and also keep constant communication with other representatives in order to develop essential communication skills. Representatives will be expected to contribute ideas and opinions during weekly meetings with board members
