Testimonials
Transferring into Merage during the pandemic was a challenge, and it left me feeling out of place. On top of this, I was entering my senior year without any involvement in Merage, so I took the leap and applied for MUSA Associates on a whim. Even though I didn’t have any Merage experience, I wanted to be able to give back to my community and to guide students who might’ve felt as out of place as me. MUSA welcomed me with open arms, and provided me the resources and support to be the best associate I could be. Although my time being a part of MUSA was brief, I am extremely grateful for the memories and for the chance they took on me as a random person with a desire to help out. Entering my final quarter at UCI now, I know I’ll be leaving Merage with so many more lifelong friendships, insight, and skills, and I sincerely hope you give it a shot — you’ll never know how much you can get out of it unless you try!

Joining the MUSA Associates’ program really allowed me to grow as a leader and gave me an opportunity to connect with my peers at Merage. As part of this program, I had the opportunity to host the 2nd Annual Business Conference with over 100 attendees featuring 12 professional and student speakers. This was such a rewarding experience to see the impact we were able to make on business students but also UCI as a whole. Overall, it was such a fun experience being able to collaborate with such an amazing and hardworking team.
